Why Keywords are important?
Your website pages get crawled by search engine’s bots to see if the information requested by a user is present on your page basis the words mentioned on a page. Usage of particular keywords can make your page appear for particular user queries and drive more targeted traffic towards your website. Keywords are one of the main elements of SEO and having a list of keywords is the first and most important step while implementing SEO.
What is Keyword Research?
Keyword research for a website includes analysis of valuable keywords for search engines and including them strategically into your content to rank your content higher on a SERP. It is fundamental practice in SEO that makes keywords a guiding factor for your marketing strategy and direction of your content. The process involves selecting a topic for content and then focusing on targeted keywords that you want to rank higher.
Things you should consider for Keyword research
You cannot start including keywords in your website randomly, because you think they might work. It’s better to do some research yourself or you can reach out to an external agency.
Some common mistakes that must be avoided:
Doing keyword research only once
Not trying to research and expand the keyword list
Targeting too popular keywords
Keyword research should be an ongoing process. Reevaluating old keywords and replacing high volume or competitive keywords with more specific phrases to bring in the ‘right visitors’ and not just visitors is very important. It is advisable to have some diversity in the keywords as using the same keywords as your competitors, is not going to make you stand out. Let’s go through some of the online tools that can help you in keyword research.

It focuses on keyword competitiveness and keyword profitability as keyword selection is the foundation of an SEO strategy.
There is more to know!!
There are different ways to do keyword research, and we have covered some of the important online tools above. Keyword research can also be done manually, however, either approach whether manual or with online tools, a proper and thorough keyword research will involve some important steps that you must take to meet your goals.
Learn more about your niche
The best way to start is by learning a bit more about your niche. You can ask your existing customers what terms they would use to for your brand, product or service. Be more involved in forums or social media networks related to your niche and try to find out any important information. Consider the perspective of a potential customer, how you would want to talk about your brand’s offering.
Have clear goals
Be very specific about your brand’s objectives, what is your website all about and what makes your business special. What do you want to achieve or if you have defined any targets by any specific date? Goals are important to provide a direction for your SEO strategy. The purpose of your SEO writing and content should be aligned with your goals.
Pick all the relevant topics
Look for some relevant topics which are important for your business. The topics that your target audience would be searching for on Google. The topics can be further broken down into keywords related to these topics.
Have the list of your Seed Keywords
Make a list of keywords related to all the relevant topics you have picked for your business. Carefully think about the terms that the target audience might be searching for on Google as these will become the foundation of your keyword research.
Use of keyword research tools
It is not necessary to start your search directly with a keyword search tool as identifying your niche, your goals and seed keywords will let you have a wider perspective for your SEO strategy and then with the use of keyword research tools you can further refine your search terms.
Go for longer tail keywords
Seed keywords are short search terms as compared to more descriptive long-tail keywords. It is far easier to match your audiences search intent to long-tail keywords than to seed keywords. Long-tail keywords might give you lesser clicks, but they get a higher conversion rate as they are focused on a specific topic or product.
You can perform a keyword search on your competitors
It is never enough to do keyword research on your brand alone. You should also try to understand what your competitors are doing. Understanding the competitiveness of different keywords, you will be able to identify the keyword opportunity gaps.
Whether you are a small business or a famous brand keyword research is integral for your content and marketing activities. Hope the blog helped you have enough insights to keyword research for a website and how you can do it.

In a data breach security incident, Hostinger, a popular web hosting provider was hit by cybercrime attackers, gaining unauthorized access to their servers, hashed passwords and non-financial data of their huge number of customers. As a precautionary measure, the company reset passwords for all their customers. On 23rd August 2019, the hackers were able to find an authorization token on company’s server and without requiring any username and password, they were able to get access to an internal system API. Hostinger contacted the respective authorities for an investigation immediately after the breach incident was discovered and the system was restricted making it no longer available for any more attacks.
Hostinger received information alerts on 23rd August 2019 that an unauthorized third party has accessed one of their servers. Further access to this server was restricted by an authorization token as the server had all the details about their clients and their accounts. The hackers had access to their database which contains information like emails, usernames, first names, hashed passwords and IP addresses for almost 14 million of their customers. It was easier for attackers to crack passwords as the company used the weak SHA-1 hashing algorithm to scramble the client passwords. From over 29 million users of Hostinger, breach affected half of their customers. The company later reset all Hostinger Client login passwords with stronger SHA-2 algorithm and password recovery emails were sent to the customers who were affected.
The company is planning to have two-factor authentication (2FA) for its Customer’s accounts in the near future. The customers are reassured of no financial data breach as the sensitive financial data is never saved on its servers and a third party is involved in handling payments for the services they provide. More assurance is provided after a thorough internal investigation that client account and the related data including hosted emails, domains and websites were untouched and unaffected.
More assurance is provided after a thorough internal investigation that client account and the related data including hosted emails, domains and websites were untouched and unaffected. The investigation with a team of internal and external forensics experts and data scientists is still going on to find the origin of the data breach and to have increased security measures for entire operations of the company. With the password reset, the customers have also been requested to set unique and strong passwords for their Hostinger accounts. The users also must not answer any suspicious emails that ask to download attachments or click on any links or is attempting to know personal information.
If any customer wishes to delete his details from Hostinger servers under GDPR rules, you may contact [email protected].

Instagram is one of the hugely grown applications over the
past few years and since the Facebook acquisition, Instagram is constantly
updating itself and adding new features to stay on top of all the social media
applications and one of the big tests that are running currently is hiding the public
like counts on the Instagram posts.
Continue reading to find out the reason behind hiding Instagram post likes, how it will look like, and the impact it could have on influencers and businesses:
What is really happening?!
Lately, Instagram has decided to hide the public likes of
the post giving the reason, that they want the users to focus more on the
quality of the content that is being shared, not just the number of likes. For
you as a user, you will still be able to see how many likes your post has
received, but your friends won’t.
“We want people to be less interested in how many likes a post gets, and focus more on connecting with other people.” Said Zuckerberg
For a while now the Canadian Instagram users have been like-free as the test was initially started in Canada, but now the test is expanding across 7 countries; Canada, Australia, Brazil, Ireland, Italy, Japan, and New Zealand.
When you come to think about it, it is a good idea to
encourage the fans to focus more on the content quality, instead of focusing on
the number of likes only.
According to studies, the number of likes is reflecting
badly on the mental health of the users, since it drives them to do almost
anything for the sake of likes and when the posts aren’t performing well, they
start to stress out.
As usual, some fans like the idea and some don’t, explaining
that this update won’t affect the content quality in any way and won’t stop
users from posting nonsense content.
Another reason behind this idea is to reduce the competition
on the platform, especially within young users. However, now a lot of young
users are considering changing their personal profiles to business profiles to
get more insights about the performance of their posts which is raising a high
privacy concern now because they share their personal information publicly in
the bio.
But how my Instagram will look like?!
When it comes to the user interface of the application, you
can say that almost nothing changed, the only thing that you won’t be seeing
anymore is the likes’ count under the post. Here is how it will look like for
those who have been selected for the test.
If you have been selected for this test, a banner will pop
up on your home feed explaining what is happening and why you can’t see the
number of likes that the post has received. The only thing that Instagram
didn’t explain or announce is how the selection of the test works or how big it
is which means that anytime this could happen to you.
For you as a user, you will still be able to see how many
likes you have received for your post, but it won’t appear automatically under
the post as before, to be able to see how many likes you have received, you
will have to tap “others” under your post to go through to the total number of
likes as below:
What about influencers and brands?!
If you have a look at Instagram stories, they don’t have a
metric as well and that didn’t stop Instagram users from using it, on the
contrary, Instagram stories have gone viral between business owners, normal
users, and influencers.
We all know that currently, the influencers marketing is
counting on the total number of the likes and followers so the big question
now, is how this will affect Instagram influencers?
Some say that with removing the likes, the pressure will be
much less on the influencers as no one will be able to see the performance of
their posts especially their competitors. But on the other hand, this will give
the influencers the luxury of posting anything they like without worrying about
how much this will affect the number of their likes and page performance, the
sky will be their limit.
However, this might be a struggle for brands to find suitable influencers for them, we all know that the number of followers isn’t the most important metric as it used to be. So how will a brand decide if this influencer has a good engagement rate or not? This will likely lead to a drop in the influencer’s marketing plan, but will for sure increase the Ads exposure of the brand since all the brands are looking for more online exposure which is a benefit for advertising agencies.
And business?
As for businesses on Instagram, they will have to look at
the content from a different perspective, now they will have to dive deep in
the content analytics to know what type of content that users actually like and
support the business goals instead of just of comparing the number of likes of
each post which can be misleading sometimes.
If you are worried about your Instagram likes and don’t want
that to happen to you, we are here to ensure you that you don’t need to worry
now unless you are in one of the 7 countries mentioned earlier. It is just a
test and it may be applied and may not, it will depend after all on the results
of the test and the feedback of the many users who have been tested, it might
take more than months to hear anything new about this update again.
So enjoy your likes now as long as it lasts 🙂
We would love to hear more about your opinion regarding this new update. If you are running an Instagram business account and looking for new ways to improve your strategy we will be glad to help, just drop us a message in here.
A lot of YouTube users have been complaining about YouTube recommendation algorithm explaining that it is promoting conspiracy theories, fake news-type content, and too many similar recommendations. And this caused YouTube to be on a hot seat at some point.
As known, Google keeps on improving its service to meet all fans’ expectations, which is why YouTube has lately announced the change in YouTube recommendations algorithm which aims to improve the quality of the recommended videos and satisfying his fans.
As known, Google keeps on improving its service to meet all fans’ expectations, which is why YouTube has lately announced the change in recommendation algorithm which aims to improve the quality of the recommended videos and satisfying his fans.
But here is the real thing, nobody knows what exactly goes
into the YouTube algorithm for suggesting recommendations. Well, nobody except
the people behind YouTube of course!
However, it is safe to say that two things have a very
strong impact on what YouTube ends up recommending: search history and watch
history. If you reset both of these, you can pretty much reset your
recommendations back to a blank slate.
To ensure YouTube fans’ satisfaction, the new system update
will focus more on likes, dislikes and time spent on watching the videos
instead of just the views which will result eventually on recommending more
clickable videos to the users.
“We’ll begin reducing recommendations of borderline content and content that could misinform users in harmful ways – such as videos promoting a phony miracle cure for a serious illness, claiming the earth is flat or making blatantly false claims about historic events like 9/11” YouTube said.
Great so what are the new updates?!
1- Now you will be able to choose the topic you are interested in from the recommendation list.
YouTube is testing a new format that will allow users to use blue bubbles to suggest keywords, creators, and related topics to help browse through videos the format will appear underneath the video and is aimed to give users more control over their recommendations.
2- You will have the option to remove selected
channels from your recommendations.
Though these recommendations are useful to some, it can eventually go unsteady, suggesting odd videos that have nothing to do with your interests. When that happens, you can now remove unwanted recommended content from your Home to improve your recommendations and see more videos that are relevant to your interests. However, you can only do this if you are signed to your account. However, even though YouTube gives users more control over their recommended feed, this stops repeating channels from consistently popping up.
3- New information Marker on the videos
recommended to you.
YouTube has come up with a way of showing you why it has
recommended the specific video. They will now be adding an information marker
which is based on what other viewers with similar tastes have watched in the
past. Or this could also be because of a YouTuber you follow is also a fan of a
video. This is the same as how Facebook and Twitter promote videos and tweets
from people you do not follow based on your viewing habits.
One thing to note though, resetting your recommendations is one way to go about it. But removing recommendations entirely would be another way to rectify the problem. This would be a great option for those who never really look at the recommendations, a good choice for those who simply prefer more screen estate while browsing YouTube feeds and those who have never found any good recommendations.
Although most users tend to get confused with their
concerned contents, it is advised that Marketers take note of these changes. If
used correctly, it could lead to a more active, unique and niche audience as it
displays content that your audience already has an interest in. These changes,
however, are hoped to personalize the viewer’s experience. And when it comes to
YouTube algorithm, YouTube has mentioned,
“Instead of worrying about what the algorithm
‘likes’, it is better to focus on what your audience likes instead. If you do
that and people watch, the algorithm will follow”.
Ironically, YouTube came up with the idea of recommending
video feed for its viewers due to this backslash from the users themselves,
hence, the announcement of the Topic Tags found under your recommended
listings. This will help us find more specific recommendations instead of
YouTube promoting just popular videos on site. Now the question is, are Tags
really that important if you are already upset in what you are seeing on your
feed? So to speak, it is not imperative. However, it helps YouTube grasp your
video’s content and context. This way, YouTube can understand your video’s
topic and category, and associate it with similar content, which can amplify
your video’s reach. For sure, YouTube’s
work isn’t over yet as it continuously is working on improving the
recommendations and development of its system. Gladly, the throwing of words
against them and the backslashes never fall off deaf ears and have used
viewers’ negative comments to positively think of rational rectifications.
Thank you, YouTube, for listening to us
Last Tuesday Facebook has come up with another big announcement which is its new Facebook currency “Libra”. You probably have heard the name already or seen it on your newsfeeds by now. But what is “Libra” currency? How we can benefit from it? Is it for everyone and safe to use or not?
The reason for this blog is to highlight some of these
answers and pop up more questions about the new hit.
Now enough with the small talk and let’s get into the main topic.
What’s “Libra”?!
Libra is the new digital Facebook currency, it is designed in a way to be secure for financial transactions and everyone will be able to use it maybe by the beginning of 2020.
Since the Facebook currency is a digital one, it won’t have any physical shape like national currencies meaning you can’t carry it in your pocket, but definitely, you will be able to carry it on your phone instead. “Libra” will be run by a computer network instead of banks or institutions and the actual standards for the currency will be managed by a nonprofit association in Switzerland called the Libra Association.
“Libra” is built on a blockchainwhich we have covered before in our blog, we recommend you to have a quick look at it for a refresh. The idea of electronic currency isn’t new at all, actually, it has been there for a long time and we mean long before 2009 when the “Bitcoin” came to life.
Some would say that it is similar to “Bitcoin”, but what
makes “Libra” different than “Bitcoin” is that Facebook has developed it based
on real assists which make it a stable coin and less volatility. But no one
knows how much of equivalent asset “Libra” will be!
“Libra” association includes 28 powerful companies like for
example Paypal, Mastercard, Visa, Uber, Vodafone, Thrive Capital and Spotify.
All the companies will contribute and run a part of the currency network.
Facebook is hoping this will grow to 100 companies by the time of launching the
new currency in the first half of 2020. The founding members of the “Libra” association
will earn invest in the money users cash that is held in reverse to keep the
value of “Libra” stable.
What a minute, won’t that create a conflict of interest?! We think it will. In fact, we think that this will be one of the challenges that the new currency might face.
Now that we have covered what is “Libra”, how actually the
currency will run?
“Libra” the Facebook currency will be run by Calibra which is a subsidiary company of Facebook and it will be the one who handles all the crypto dealings & protects users’ privacy. It will offer its digital wallet called “Calibra Wallet” which can be connected to other applications such as Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp aside from its own standalone application.
Of course to be able to use the app and start with your payments
your name and identity will have to be there, but you won’t have to add them
each time you make any payment; however, it will be public. Regardless of the
fact that Calibra is a subsidiary of Facebook, Calibra will keep all your
financial data away from Facebook.
Each time you cash a dollar, for example, the money will go
to a big bank called the Libra reserve which creates and send your Libra
tokens. The reserve isn’t just made of US dollar currency, it is made of a
collection of the most stable currencies in the world, to remain the value of
the “Libra” even with the changes that any of these currencies may face.
A question might pop up to your mind now, will I need a Facebook account to be able to use “Calibra Wallet”? Calibra has stated that no you won’t, the wallet is there for everyone to use
How we can benefit from “Libra”?
With the new currency, they say your life will be easier.
You will be able to buy things or send money to people with nearly no benefits
at all since you won’t have to pay for any bank or transaction fees any more
adding to that the transfer will happen in no time not in three to four working
days. And in the future, they are hoping that you can cash out your “Libra”
currency into actual banknotes whether in your bank account or handed to you
from the nearest local store.
It is not just intended for Facebook, but you can use it as well offline meaning that you can buy your favorite food or coffee with your “Libra” balance. You can even get offers, discounts, and rewards when using “Libra” currency.
Is “Libra” secure or not?
Now, do you remember the big buzz that happened around Facebook privacy violations a while back? Sure this has must get you wondering about your data privacy since “Libra” is developed by Facebook after all, right? We know we did, but if you are worried about your data privacy like us, Calibra has announced that it won’t share any customers’ data with Facebook without users’ agreements which means that the application won’t use your financial data to target you with specific ads on your newsfeed or sell your info to marketers.
What about the challenges?
Just like any new thing, the new currency has some
challenges to pass. We all know that governments always try to control the
money supply for economic and political reasons and we think this is better for
everyone since such openness isn’t always good, now if “Libra” started to
become more real currency than just a digital one, will it still be run by
Facebook or government will take over?
Another challenge “Libra” might face is organizing the
payments; payments and transfers require a lot of security regulations, are
Facebook and Calibra able to handle such regulations. What will happen if some
of the users were able to crack the system and steal the users’ balance?
Also what if users decided that they don’t want to use
“Libra” anymore, can they sell it? If yes, then to whom they can sell it. If
not, then what can they do it?! And since Facebook didn’t announce the actual
equivalent asset of “Libra” how will users be able to sell it, in fact, how
will they be sure that what they are getting for the “Libra” exchange is
actually what it is really cost?!
Now that you have a good idea about “Libra” the new Facebook currency, do you think it will really work and succeed or it is just another one of those Facebook announcements that we heard about them once and didn’t hear about them again – We don’t actually remember them to give an example, but we are sure there were a few!
So tell us what do you think about this big change? Will you
be comfortable using the new currency or not?! Share with us your thoughts.
As per a recent announcement from Facebook, there are new changes in the algorithms that will affect video ranking on Facebook, it is to help the talented video creators and the media companies who are working hard to publish the original content and producing videos with longer average watch time and more repeated views to get more audience and have a profitable video business on Facebook. Pages with re-purposed or unoriginal video content are going to be penalized with limited distribution and monetization. The updates of Facebook videos new ranking system will start rolling out over the next few months.
In this post, we will talk about
the prime 3 Factors that will impact the video ranking on Facebook. There are
other multiple factors that affect video distribution, however, these 3 will
have the greatest influence.
Loyalty and Intent:

video content that can keep the audience engaged over time and keep them coming
back for more. It means videos that the user seeks out via search or return to
will be prioritized.
Video and Viewing Duration:

that capture viewers’ attention for at least 1 minute will be given more weight
or that can keep users engaged for a longer period, especially 3 minutes long
videos.
The Originality of the
Content:

When your page has no role in creating or editing that content.
A content which is minimally edited, without meaningfully altering its source
Compiling third party videos

Creating your website using SEO best practices is very important as it helps you get valuable traffic. SEO does not involve any single task or a single strategy. For effective search engine optimization, a combination of SEO best practices must be followed that will definitely help in ranking your website.
As an expert SEO company in Dubai, we would like to share 6 SEO best practices that you can implement in your website. Let’s get started.
Dwell Time Is an
Important Factor in SEO
Dwell time refers to the total length of time spent by users
at a webpage when they click a link on a SERP page. No matter how much effort
you put in creating the content of your website, dwell time can tell if your
content is good enough to capture the interest of the user. It is a very
important factor for search engines to determine the level of searcher
satisfaction, and evaluate if the page is satisfying user needs.
Websites with higher dwell time will be ranked on top by Google. Make sure that your website looks beautiful with clutter free and readable content. Use high-quality images which are well optimized as it will affect the page speed as well. Adding videos will give a more interactive experience to the users. When users spend longer time on your site, it lowers bounce rates as well.
The Mobile Version of
Your Website Should be Prioritized for Indexing
Hope you are aware that Google
predominantly uses the mobile version of your content for indexing and ranking
first rather than desktop version site. The reason for mobile first indexing is
simple, as users access Google more via a mobile device now. You may not have
to do anything if your desktop and mobile versions are identical however if you
have separate content for mobile and desktop, some of the best practices where
you must focus are:
Content – In case the content on the mobile site is less than the
desktop site, update it. Mobile version of the site must contain the same
high-quality and valuable content as is present on your desktop site.
Structured Data – Make sure that the data is structured on both the
versions.
Metadata – Both the versions must have metadata. You might include shorter versions of titles and meta descriptions for mobile-optimized content, however, ensure to capture the equivalent information and all relevant keywords.
Focus Equally on Local
SEO Optimization
Do you know that nearly half of
the Google searches done for your business are local? With Local SEO you can
optimize your online presence so you attract more traffic from relevant local
searches which are not limited to Google only but other relevant search engines
as well. The latest trend of search is – users want to know about the best
products and services available near them. Your business website must be well
optimized for traditional and potential keyword searches so it can show up
exactly when a local user is looking for similar products and services.
Featured snippets – text boxes
that appear with an answer to your query in a very convenient and easy way to
read are becoming more and more popular to boost conversions and drive traffic
to a website. Many of us also refer to them as “answer boxes” simply because
answers to our queries are given inside a box. However, the featured snippet
term is more appropriate when there is a URL present in the box giving chances
of higher click-through rate.
The position that content is
given in a featured snippet in terms as ‘position zero’ and Google can pull the
answer from a content already ranking on page 1 or even from lower ranking
SERPs. Any content can earn the position Zero provided you make your content
‘snippable’ with good keyword research and identify search queries which are
top performing. Optimize your content once you have this information and
include those keywords and topics which most of the queries are related

User Experience Plays a Key Role in SEO
Well, there is an important link
between user experience and SEO. When search engines like Google look for the
best results for your search queries, they not only consider the keywords or
search phrases if they are mentioned on your website but the page layout of
your website and navigational elements as well making it important for you to
optimize the website for both SEO and user experience.
For the better user experience
and SEO, structuring your website is very important.
Plan out the structure of your website. Make it
logically with main categories on top and then the subcategories to follow.
Make a simple hierarchy and not complicated.
Focus on a structured page layout that provides
users with a clear view of the organization of content and easily guides them
on the actions they wish to take.
Make your website easily accessible. Easy navigation
with search bars and popular content highlighted for quick access.
Keep on reviewing your website on a daily basis,
if required do the necessary alterations to remove any outdated content or
designs. Identify your zombie pages, that are providing no real value to your
traffic.
Great user experience is the key and a great website structure positively impacts the user experience. Don’t overlook the importance of a user-friendly website, as it helps in getting the best results in search engine results listings and rankings.
Keep Your URLs Short and Simple

URLs help in describing a page to search engines, they should be well structured and accurate to help your website rank higher. Keep short URLs with relevant keywords as it is more convenient to share in emails or messages. It is also important not to use too many keywords but optimize one web page around one keyword only. Overuse of keywords is easily recognized by search engines and your website could be penalized for such actions. To separate multiple words, use hyphens (-) instead of underscore (_). Social media and SEO, both are inbound channels yet very different from each other. Search Engine Optimisation is all about receiving traffic through search engine rankings while social media is more about building relationships, connecting with the audience and getting traffic through social media channels. The efforts and outcome in both are very different from each other. Many times, a company might decide to hire a social media agency to grow their social media audience without considering the power of SEO or the company might decide to work on ranking the website while completely ignoring the power of social media.
If you are finding it difficult to make a choice, let’s go through a quick comparison between both the strategies.
Intent & the Mindset of the Audience
There is a difference in the intent of the audience of social media and the audience of a search engine. SEO audience has a specific purpose or a need to go to a search engine and look for information that they want to know. They are more likely to buy your product or service, but unlike social media audience, there is a minimal chance that they will share this information with others. Your business knows what this audience is thinking but you are not sure about who these people are. In social media marketing, you can easily target the audience as you know who these people are, but you don’t know what they are thinking. They were just browsing when they saw you, they do not have a strong intent to buy but they are more likely to share the information.
Type of Content
Content is the key in both social media marketing and SEO. Posts for social media marketing like Facebook, Instagram or YouTube will be smaller in length as compared to research-based content used for search engine optimization. One of the main objectives of social media is to bring customer engagement so the content will be less technical and capable of evoking emotions such as happiness, anger or any surprise. For search engines, long form of content works better or detailed instructional posts that answer queries. So search engines and social media depend on different types of content and at the same time, they can depend on each other as well. Eg. An infographic on social media linking to a detailed post is a key to drive traffic to your website and optimizing it for SEO.
Reach and Success Limit
Designing a strategy and
achieving goals in social media marketing is not as straight forward as it is
for SEO. For search optimization, a business will pick the relevant keywords
and starts on getting top ranking. Thought it is not an easy process, but the
path is clear. But with social media, a business will use a different strategy
for each campaign, will try different platforms and innovative ways to engage
the audience.
SEO is primarily based on the information search and social media is for engagement. With SEO, traffic coming to your website will not exceed the number of searches done for that phrase that particular day. But, with social media, there is no limit to the number of audiences your page can get. A content that goes viral can quickly spread the information in a very short span of time.
Required Efforts
There is a difference in the kind
of efforts and the amount of effort required in social media marketing and SEO.
For social media, you need a proper plan, great content, consistency in posting
the content, apps and monitoring tools to schedule calendars, posts them and
track the performance. Since the life of a social media post is short, it is
important to be consistent and responsive. With the useful tools, though it is
easy to manage the social media however it still needs more efforts. SEO is a
slow process and it might take a long time to rank your website. SEO involves
its own kind of efforts but unlike social media, the consistent stress of
managing audience, brand and services is not there.
SEO if done in the right way,
could involve fewer efforts and may return more conversions. Social media may
involve more time and efforts but the opportunity it gives to connect with your
customers and its contribution to creating brand awareness is immense.
